I just recently finished Ann Coulter‘s “Demonic: How the Liberal Mob Is Endangering America” and highly recommend it. It’s amazingly ironic that it came out just prior to “Occupy Wall Street” because that movement more than anything that could be said affirms the content of the book. After reading Gustave Le Bon Ann realized how [...]

I believe your understanding of the founding documents and the history of this country is proportional to your despair, discontent and anger at what you see happening today. The Nation’s 2010 Report Card for Civics show only 12% of 12th graders are proficient at a 12th grade level. To give you an idea of how [...]

The Federalist Papers – Know Your Country

To fully understand The Constitution of the United States you should read The Federalist Papers. During the birth of this country these are the things folks were talking about when they gathered and what we should be talking about today… more than ever.

You can download an electronic version which can be read on computer, eBook readers such as the Kindle and handheld devices and smartphones.
If you read one paper a day you will have read them all in less than three months and you will be grounded in truth and gain an understanding of just how great our Constitution is. If you live in America you will realize just how fortunate you are. You will realize what a miracle America is and why these ideas must be protected and you will gain a new pride and patriotism. If you don’t live in this country you will come away from this project with a respect and clearer understanding of the miracle of the United States.

The Federalist Papers are a series of 85 articles advocating the ratification of the United States Constitution.

The Federalist Papers serve as a primary source for interpretation of the Constitution, as they outline the philosophy and motivation of the proposed system of government. The authors of the Federalist Papers wanted to both influence the vote in favor of ratification and shape future interpretations of the Constitution. According to historian Richard B. Morris, they are an “incomparable exposition of the Constitution, a classic in political science unsurpassed in both breadth and depth by the product of any later American writer.”
